From herb selection to packaging: the story of Miple's in-house pill-making room

Miple Korean Medicine Clinic's patented herbal diet medicine GONG BI JIN YAK is made 100% in person by the prescribing doctor in our in-house pill-making room. From choosing the herbs to making and packaging the pills, every step takes place inside the clinic. We open up the process so you can see where and how the herbal medicine you take is made.
Why we make it ourselves
The composition differs slightly at each stage of a stage-by-stage prescription. Only when the prescriber makes it in person can the differences between stages be reflected precisely, and we can respond quickly when you change stages during use.
The 6-step pill-making process
- Herb selection — we use GMP-certified herbs and choose them after checking their condition ourselves.
- Grinding — the selected herbs are ground into a fine powder.
- Mixing — the herb powders are blended in the ratio for your prescription stage.
- Pill-making and shaping — small pills are made with a pill-making machine and shaped smooth.
- Drying and moisture testing — after drying, we confirm that moisture content is under 10%.
- Packaging — pills are packed hygienically in dosing units.

Why pills
Pills are small, easy to carry to work or school, and simple to store. For herbal diet medicine, where taking it steadily every day matters, 'easy to take' makes a bigger difference than you might expect.
