Polycystic ovary syndrome:
we slim down while watching your menstrual cycle

Hormonal influence makes it harder. We adjust the stage while watching your menstrual cycle.

  1. Hormonal influence
  2. Irregular menstrual cycle
  3. Stalling despite the same effort

We consult nationwide through remote consultations. Results may vary from person to person.

  • GroupFor people diagnosed with, or suspected of having, polycystic ovary syndrome
  • PrincipleWe do not stop hormone therapy on our own, and we check your menstrual cycle together
  • ApproachWe prescribe a diet that takes insulin resistance into account, and a stage-by-stage prescription
Why is it hard?

Why is it hard for this body to lose weight?

Insulin resistance

When insulin does not work well, what you eat easily piles up as fat. That is why weight tends to rise.

Hormones and appetite

When hormone balance is disrupted, appetite control is harder too. It is hard to get through on willpower alone.

Low basal metabolic rate

You use little energy, so you lose less even on the same meals. That is why progress is slow even when you change your lifestyle.

If this sounds like you

Do any of these sound familiar?

  • Your menstrual cycle is irregular.
  • Even when you diet, you lose much more slowly than others.
  • You crave sweet food and carbohydrates especially.
  • You are bothered by acne or body hair.
  • You plan to conceive, and your weight is on your mind.
Miple's prescription

How a Miple prescription works

  1. Checking diagnosis and medicationWe look at when you were diagnosed, the medicines you take, and your recent test results. Hormone therapy stays as it is.
  2. Recording your cycleWe record together how your cycle changes during weight loss. Please tell us what has changed.
  3. Diet and prescriptionWe prescribe MYCUT along with a diet that reduces carbohydrates appropriately. We do not impose extreme restrictions.
  4. Adjusting monthlyWe change stages based on how your body responds. If your condition drops, we slow the pace.
Diet and lifestyle tips

Try this at home

  • Cut back on white rice, flour, and sweet drinks, and add protein and vegetables.
  • Do not starve; eat meals regularly. The longer you go without eating, the more you crave sweet food.
  • Sleep on a regular schedule, and on days when stress builds up, walk even briefly.
  • Record the start date of your period and tell us at your visit.

Consultation process

How your care proceeds

First month

Adjusting and finding your stage

We check your diagnosis and the medicines you take and start at a low stage. We also start recording your menstrual cycle.

Months 2–3

Monthly body composition check · stage adjustment

Each month we look at body composition and your cycle together and adjust the stage.

Maintenance stage

Months 3–6, lowering stages gradually

Over 3–6 months we gradually step the stages down and settle a diet you can keep.

This describes the care process. The pace and results of weight loss vary from person to person.

Frequently Asked Questions

Polycystic ovary syndrome: your questions

Can I take it even if I have it?

In most cases, yes. We adjust while looking at your menstrual cycle and condition.

Will my periods change?

It is a diet prescription, not one that addresses irregular periods. Changes vary from person to person, and we check them together during weight loss.

Can I take it while on hormone medication?

Please tell us the name and dose. We check whether they can be taken together, and please do not stop your existing medicine on your own.

What about the diet?

Cut back on white rice, flour, and sweet drinks, and increase protein and vegetables. We do not impose extreme restrictions and set it within a range you can keep.

I plan to conceive. Is that okay?

We first consult so that the dosing period does not overlap with when you try to conceive. If pregnancy is confirmed, stop right away and tell us.
